Daddy Sounds

Your privacy, answered

How Daddy Sounds keeps what happens here between us — in plain words.

Privacy & Discretion

Privacy here isn't a settings page — it's how the site is built. These answers describe protections that are enforced in code, not promised in prose.

No. There are no third-party trackers, no analytics scripts, and no advertising pixels on any page — the site's browser security policy blocks outside scripts from loading at all, so this isn't a promise we keep manually; it's enforced by the code itself. What you do here stays here.

Because passwords leak. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email — each link works once and expires. There's no password to steal, reuse from another site, or appear in a breach with Daddy Sounds next to your name.

Yes. Any working email address is fine, including relay addresses like Apple's Hide My Email. We never require your real name, and the email you choose is the only identity the site knows.

The sign-in codes you request, the basics a purchase involves if you subscribe (like a receipt), and useful information about new stories, new offers and even recommendations about what to listen to next — in the EU and UK only if you ticked the box when you joined. Never anything explicit in a subject line, and one tap unsubscribes from any of those updates.

No. There are no public member profiles, no follower lists, and no activity feeds. Nothing about your account — not your name, your email, or what you listen to — is visible to anyone else on the site.

Looking for billing questions — statements, payment methods, switching, cancelling? They live on the Plans page.

Your Account & Data

The short version: we store almost nothing, and what we do store, you can delete yourself.

Your email address, your subscription status, and your listening position so stories resume where you left off. Playback statistics are kept without personal details attached. One exception, so it's said plainly: for the free stories and previews, the company that streams our audio keeps a connection log — including your IP address — for up to three days; members' audio is never logged. Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties — there's no one on the other end of that pipe, because the pipe doesn't exist.

No. Payments are processed by our billing provider under banking-industry (PCI) rules — full card numbers never touch Daddy Sounds servers, so they can't be lost from here.

Go to your Account page and choose Delete account — or email support@daddysounds.com from the address on your account and we'll do it for you. Your account, your history, and your data are erased — not deactivated, erased. All that remains are anonymous counts (like how many times a story was played) that can't be traced back to you.
