Hey, please. Come and sit. Please sit. By me, by the fire. Keep warm. Warm those bones.
A glass of wine, perhaps, to warm the mind as well.
I knew it
Well
Oh no, it's a Pinot
97
Nothing but the finest
As usual
I've often wondered if the people making the wine would know that
It would be drinking many years from when they had first
Casked it
Do they know that the work they put in
Would last for so long?
Did they know that?
Maybe the vintner, I'm not sure
But
Those people who were smashing the grapes
Might have thought
Oh, some wino's gonna take care of this
In about two months
But no
Here we are
Years later
enjoying their craftsmanship isn't that something so tell me are you are you a craftsman crafts woman
well there's a lot of honor to be had in working with one's hands
seeing something come from nothing and with your own self with your own
drive making something looking at a plot of land seeing an absence of creation
and bringing forth your vision into the world
there's a lot to be said about that
something that this world unfortunately lacks
there's not really an easy answer there's not a solution
you couldn't really say oh well do this that and
the next thing and everyone will be happy everyone will be fulfilled
there's conflicts between human interest and unfortunately evolution
we've built our society
to the point where humans are now the dominant species on earth
the dominant species as far as we even know
And here we are living our lives. And to think that there isn't a sense of competition
amongst one another is very naive. And to think that that sense of competition
is only surface level, keeping up with the Joneses, American dream, that's much more naive.
Yes, people are reproducing at huge rates, but they're also dying from things that we've never seen before.
Sure, we've got antibiotics and we can stop you from bleeding out in a car crash,
but there are other things that we have not yet adapted to.
There are other things that impede us, that impede our lives.
And those things are human-created.
Those things are what another human has brought unto us.
Not a bear, not a wolf.
There's no predator other than ourselves.
And so we need to defend ourselves from those predators which are our own.
How do we determine who is of our own?
I'm not sure.
I really don't know.
But what I will tell you
is that humanity needs to make a choice.
We either understand the power in working with each other,
or we split, divide, and kill ourselves from within.
And unless there's no common enemy to rally around,
I'm afraid the latter will be the case.
We really are at a turning point.
i'm afraid the world that we've created for ourselves seems no longer livable
so much so that we yearn we beg for something else for it for a created life alternate reality
a world that we can make for ourselves an individual world
that the individual can craft specifically for them
it's very interesting
and if that world were to be so realistic
at what point is it a false reality
at what point is that no longer the world?
You and I could talk to each other and look at someone and wearing a headset,
transported to another area of existence. Things are displayed before them on the screen,
on the pixels. Maybe it even gets so advanced that their brains themselves can be plugged in.
That they can experience something wholly unique to them.
Or that they can experience something, in our eyes, completely artificial.
What then?
Is there a need to change anything?
Is there a need to work?
Is there a need to live?
You could program your mind to feel a way, a certain way, all the time.
To have the feeling of accomplishment, to have the feeling of love, to have the feeling
of tremendous deep satisfaction.
At the current rate of scientific progress, that's what's happening.
That's where we're going.
But if we get that, what then would be the meaning of life?
What would be the purpose in even doing that?
created a new set of rules in a new dimension of sorts we've created a new reality
there are different laws of nature in this reality
and the human element we're just there we're part of it
a very integral part
since that part of this created space if you will
its purpose was for us
so you could extrapolate and think that this world its purpose is the human purpose
its purpose is to provide pleasure for humanity
well i'm not really sure where i'm going with that but
What do you think the purpose of the world is?
How do you like to live your life?
perhaps a life of pleasure only is that what it all is just
eat drink be merry there's no nobility no higher aim nothing on a pedestal with which to reach for
That's very interesting.
Let me tell you.
I find you very attractive.
Do you feel that way about me?
I suppose we can't really control
what or who we
find beautiful.
It's something that's more or less thrust upon us and we have no say in the matter.
We're here to enjoy, would you agree?
And I would like to enjoy you.
It's not often I come across a woman like you.
It's not often a woman like you has the same feelings for me.
Would you like to sit closer?
Would you like to sit by me?
Come, sit, warm yourself not only by the fire, but by my heat as well.
enjoy your energy. I enjoy the presence that you have. Perhaps my next piece
will be about you. About a woman with an energy I can't quite pin down but is so
beautiful she makes me question what I was put on this earth to do would you
like that if I created something for you
if I brought a little piece of heaven down to this earth
Would you care for that?
Make love to me.
What do we have to lose?
I'd like to cover you in rose petals, and slowly brush them aside, revealing you inches
